I chose to illustrate the Botanic Gardens because of my vivid memories of visiting during a school trip. I was captivated by the wide variety of plants. This experience made me appreciate the importance of understanding the true purpose of Botanic Gardens. They are more than just tourist spots; they're Asia's first and only tropical botanic garden listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Furthermore, the Botanic Garden plays a crucial role in supporting the nation's efforts in greening, conducting vital research on plant taxonomy and biodiversity in the region, and providing a place for both leisure and learning.
